I have been looking for a garnet ring that truly does the garnet justice - found it!
I was a little concerned that it wouldn't look as feminine because of the width of the band, but happily my fears were unfounded. It's a bold ring that still manages to look ultra feminine and I've gotten many positive comments on it (and it's comfortable, too!).
