Bought this because dog #2 chewed up the Four Paws 18" wooden gate I used to have. Definitely no chewing going on now since this is metal. My 5 lb teacup maltese (dog #1) is able to shimmy through the sides to get to the other side. I could buy an extension but I really don't feel like paying the additional $10 plus shipping for it. I bought two of these gates: one of them was missing the little feet at the bottom.
