I have a year old Schnauzer and her hair feels soft. But, I guess its too much for these clippers. I oiled like crazy but no matter how many times I ran the clipper over her back, it wouldn't clip all the hairs. So after 20 or so swipes over the same area, I decided to just be happy with a thinning effect.
