Well, if you have a hankering for a gerbil bath, this item is of questionable use. The first thing I found out when I got it was that the gerbil must be purchased separately. Even when I got a gerbil and put him in this, it didn't make him want to do any bathing.
In fact, I had to smear gerbil food all over me before he would start giving me a bath. Even then it took a long time and several sessions. They are small and evidently fill up quickly.
Then when I put him back in the container, the gerbil crawled out rather immediately. In fact, he got himself lost rather immediately. After hours of looking under and behind things, I gave up. I prepared a mousetrap with a lot of foam rubber around the metal and put some gerbil food in it. The foam rubber did not provide the protection for the gerbil I had anticipated. So now I need another (purchased separately) gerbil. I discovered the first gerbil had no warranty.
